Conspiracy Thrillers
A conspiracy thriller is where a larger organization or force is plotting against someone or group, and the hero/heroine faces this group, who's true motives and identities, only they will recognise to it's full extent.
The main point of the conspiracy thriller is often the race between the conspirators and the main character(s), and the main character(s) identifying, exploiting and stopping their objective before it can be achieved.
Examples include The Bourne trilogy, The Da Vinci code and Syriana
